Q&A with HUNXHO: dive into the drops
DEEW: The 22 Collection is about to be live. What inspired you to develop your own line?
Hunxho: I’ve always wanted to build something that reflects how I move—not just as an artist, but as a person. The 22 Collection is about energy, focus, intention. Everything in it is hand-selected to align with that.
DEEW: Why “22”? What does that number mean to you?
Hunxho: 22 runs deep for me—it’s where I’m from, East Atlanta. It shaped my mindset, my hustle, and how I move through life. The number’s personal, but it’s also about the people, the energy, and the lessons that built me. So when I put “22” on this collection, it’s bigger than just a drop—it’s a tribute to where it all started.
DEEW: Tell us about the genetics—how personal was that part of the process?
Hunxho: Super personal. I wasn’t just checking boxes—I dove deep into the genetic profiles, the stories behind the strains, how they can support balance and presence. I curated these drops with the same intention I bring to my music.
DEEW: How do you want people to feel when they connect with the 22 Collection?
Hunxho: I want them to feel aligned. Whether they’re building, reflecting, or just finding their peace—this collection is about honoring that space and staying real with yourself.

IS DEEW LEGAL?
Yes, all DEEW products are federally legal. There are certain states that restrict the use of specific cannabis products like THCa flower. The list of states where we are currently not shipping is as follows: Arkansas, California, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Oregon, Rhode Island, & Utah. This list gets occasionally updated as states update local legislation.
In recent times, there has been a significant rise in the popularity of cannabis products as more consumers turn to alternative wellness remedies. As the landscape of the market shifts, so too does the legal framework governing different cannabis compounds.
Many of our flower products contain THCa a non-psychoactive compound that is organically present in cannabis. In its natural form, THCa doesn’t induce the typical intoxicating effects associated with THC. It’s only when subjected to heat, such as when ignited in a joint or otherwise, that THCa transforms into THC through a process called decarboxylation, leading to its psychoactive properties. Our other offerings, such as edibles and concentrates that undergo no heat application during consumption, may contain CBD, CBG, CBN, THCv, or Delta-9 THC derived from hemp.
